New Camper Families

We appreciate your interest in Round Lake Camp. Round Lake Camp is a unique summer camp program. The camp, which was founded in 1981, offers a program designed for children who might not find success in a traditional camp program. Round Lake campers have fun, feel secure in their camp environment, make friends, and have an energizing camp experience! Campers live on the same campus as their peers in our mainstream camps, Nah Jee Wah and Cedar Lake. They experience a wide array of activities and are integrated into the daily routine and program of our camps according to their abilities.

CShawn with parents-webampers benefit from an outstanding staff who are aware and knowledgeable of our children. The site has been developed to offer a broad camp program and a healthy experience within a supportive environment. We work to help your child feel good about him/herself, and to develop self-confidence, and social skills.

Our campers have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (high functioning), learning disabilities, social skill challenges, and communication disorders. They might experience some difficulty in a traditional camp setting. Most of our campers receive some level of special education service in their public or private school program. We serve boys and girls 7-18 years of age.

We encourage you to consider the Round Lake Camp experience. Further information can be obtained by calling our office 973.575.3333 ext 145, or by email: rlc@njycamps.org.

Thank you for your interest in our program, and we hope we are able to be of service to your family.
